Cyrus the Great Posted October 12, 2010 Share Posted October 12, 2010 after the 4 month finally i install nsow leopard on may laptop (hp pavilion dv6-1125) flow this step to installing snow leopard 1-install iatkos s3 v2 (in the customize dont select any driver only select apple ps2 trackpad-and use pcifi 10.6 for boot loader-realtek 8168 driver for network-and live the other selection in default ) 2-boot with this -x cpus=1 -v 3-remove any ati driver in extension folder and use kext utility to rebuild the cache 4-then restart with this -v cpus=1 now you can access to your windows hard driver 5- install mac osx 10.6.4 combo update to upgarde your os to 10.6.4 if get error shutdown using the power button 6-boot with -x cpus=1 -v nad then delete any ati kext for extension folder again 7-install legacy_kernel_10.4.0.pkg (i will attach it) 8-install atiradeonhd.kext using kext helper(before installing this kext right click on it and select show package content then open info.plist and <key>enableHWCursor</key> <true/> to <key>enableHWCursor</key><false/> then install it) 9-using kext utility to rebuild the cache and reboot with -v command your now have snow leopard last version in your laptop but you must boot always with -v command .cpu 2 core work fully and graphic work with full resolation . wirless driver not work now.for other driver serach the forum. I read your explanation and I have tried, and I can not go from step 3. Once started with-x cpus = 1-v when you just set up everything, as he entered Leonard snow? Yes shut down and understand, once he got pc efi and entered the MAC partition goes to turn off your pc ..! Please help, I'm going crazy with this for 2 months. My problem is the kext for ati hd 4530, will not let me finish the installation and see the desktop. As I have to do a salute to all Forum. I need help!!!
