Keny Hu
I successfully installed iPC OSx86 10.5.6 on my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop, and later upgraded to 10.5.8. Everything works fine, except when I add or delete some extensions, in the next two reboots, I would get KPs twice, sometimes three times. The causes of the KPs are always ATSServer, IOStorage, and sometimes IOHIDFamily, one after another. But after rebooting twice, everything returns well. It's just so annoying that each time I change some of the extensions, I would expect get such KPs. I am using VoodooKernel 9.8.0, with RadeonHD, AppleHDA, HDAEnabler, VoodooBattery, and VoodooPS2Controller. 3.14r2
Be sure to set correct permissions to installed kexts. The best option (if you are on Leopard) is to use OSX86 Tools to install kexts and do some basic system management. Keny Hu
I use Kext Help to install my extensions. Besides, I would use Disk Utility to repair permission.
