Korda Posted October 10, 2010 Share Posted October 10, 2010 Hi guys, my specs are : CPU : AMD64 skt754 3000+ MOBO : MSI K8T-NEO FIS2R ( NB : VIA K8T800 ) GFX : ATI Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb HDD : Seagate 80Gb 7200rpm IDE MEMS : (1x512Mb + 1x256Mb) DDR400 I only want to install Macosx in this computer, so there´s only one main partition on HDD. I´ve tried to install iAtkos V7 at least 20 times with no results at all. The last error that i find is: Mar 1 15:25:15 localhost mDNSResponder[38]: Couldn't read user specified Computer Name; using default (...) The customize that i choose : - iAtkos Main System - Chamaleon V2 - VIA IDE/SATA - Kernel 9.7.0 - Post Install Actions but with no success at all, so im about to quit trying this thing... Hi Guys, Here its finally after many try's finally worked ,haha Mac leapord installed sucessfully,i registered just say thanks all post which was helpful in making it. procedure i followed. 1) downloaded ideneb ,installed sucessfully but booting problem, Now downloaded iaktos v7 leapord version. 1)intially it loops at start,finally came through a solution with typing cpus=1 as mine is dual core. 2)set iaktos dvd as first drive to boot. 3)press F8 as soon as it loads. 4)on boot option type cpus=1 -v busratio=30 then hit enter 5)Its checks and you get the loading screen,hit contiue 6)Goto utilities,disk utility,create a mac drive as journaled. 7)Hit next and important choose the following in IAKtos v7 on cutomize Chameloen v2 */extra *psdt *dsmos *9.5 version kernel vodoo *APIC DRIVER *DISABLER *OHR *REMOVE TYMCE *AHCI *INTEL SATA\IDE *JMICRON SATA\IDE *POST INSTALL ACTIONS. 8)hit done and install. install takes about 10-15 min on post we get some successfull messages. reboot and change bois to harddrive which you instaled as first boot. 9)Chameloen boot loader loads,hit any key 10)you would get mac icon drive name which you installed hit space to boot otion to appear 11)type cpu=1 busratio=30 as weset intially 12)you would get mac (apple white screen with loading symbol) 13)It might load sometime as stuck for loading symbol,wait it will still work as hardrive is read. 14)then comes your wha wha Apple welcome ,do post registration for logon ..haha you have a mac now tips:please set keyboard setting as it might be wierd untillits setup. had issue later fixed it.
