Elad Nava Posted October 9, 2010 Share Posted October 9, 2010 Hey all, After the latest Mac Security Update ( I honesly can't tell you the ID # I just clicked Update ) my Hackintosh fails to shut down. It is the only security update released after 10.6.4. When I click Shut Down, it closes all programs, darkens the screens and disables VGA output, but the computer itself will stay running forever, until I shut it off manually with the power button. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Or are there any obvious things to check when the computer fails to shut down?
