Gustavs
Hey, I'm trying to install the OSX on PC. When I insert the the DVD and run the installation with "-v" I get this error - couldn't alloc class NVDANV30HALFailed to load extension com.apple.NVDAResman Still waiting for root device I tried searching the forum, but didn't find anything that worked for me. I have the Prescott Intel Pentium 4 on GigaByte 8I865GME-775-RH.
Rammjet
Still waiting root device is your main problem. The system is confused about the drive system. Make sure your optical drive and your hard drive are on the same ata chain. Jumper the hard drive to master and the optical drive to slave (no cable select). If you have external drives, flash drives or other internal hard drives, disconnect them. If you get OSX installed, you can revert to what your setup was previously. I did try that, but still the same result. I tried the other way around too(to set the hard drive to slave and dvd to master) I think it has something to do with videocard, but I'm not sure what. SuperCed
I wil try this week-end. And if MacOS X does not work on this motherboard, I can give it back to my shop, so if it does not work, I will try a 945 chipset. I just want MacOS X and no other OS. So what should I do? Just boot on the Jas DVD and launch installer? I will try this soon.
