My motherboard is GA-EP45-UD3L and I have only WD300GB plugged in with windows 7 installed I am trying to install mac os with either of these guides http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=187906 or http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html BUT my problem is when I have AHCI enabled..it just goes into windows 7..it does not go into [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] or boot CD that was provided in the link above Do I need to completely format the hard drive? I have tried both with DVD and CD with no luck on both. Its indifferent what operating system you use. So both operating systems should support the AHCI feature, if you using that. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How did you figure it out, I am having the exact same problem, just cannt get it to boot to USB or CD/DVD with AHCI enabled. Also for anyone who is interested by default Win 7 64bit does not boot with AHCI turned on, there is a registry setting that need to be changed.
