carbfrze
Hello all, I'm new to the hackintosh seen. I've finally gotten my Snow Leopard running smoothly on my Asus K72JK new laptop. Just like alot of users I'm unable to get my sound to work. I've looked and looked and haven't found a .kext that will work. And i've even tried to Byte Flip method to no avail. I'm running this w/ VirtualBox and the only thing not working is the sound. According to my Device Manager I have a IDT High Definition Audio card. According to the driver I installed directly from Asus (for my Windows 7 install) it is for a Realtek 92hd81b1x I've done alot of searching and haven't found anything that will work. For some more info here is what is showing up in the registry for my Device UUID: {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} and here is the info from Hardware ID's: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7605&SUBSYS_10431003 I've already tried the VoodooHDA, AC97HDAUDIO, INTEL_IDT_AUDIO_111D76B2, & the APPLEHDA kexts to no avail. Please help Thanks
