spawnocula Posted October 7, 2010 Share Posted October 7, 2010 Finally after numerous attempts at deciding on hardware and bootloader options, Ive got a working Mac Pro Clone. My specs: Ga-EP45T-UD3LR (rev.1.0; Bios ver.F10) motherboard Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 rev c0 2.4 ghz my old BFG 8800GT Kingston hyperx DDR3 1066 8gig Western Digital 750gig green Sata drive Samsung sata dvdr/rw Installed Kakewalk 2.2 using CD bootloader download with a purchased legit MacBox set containing SL 10.6.3...followed its info and voila a working machine...However sound did not initially work so I used apple's software update thinking it would correct it...it upgraded me to SL 10.6.4...but still no audio, until I found this awesome website: www.leopardkext.blogspot.com for kext drivers...here is direct link to HD Audio drivers I used: http://leopardkext.blogspot.com/search/lab...0audio%2010.6.4 I used the Kext Utility ver 2.4.2: http://leopardkext.blogspot.com/2010/07/ke...ow-leopard.html thx to all Forums such as these to help lads like me afford a system that wont cost me thousands that Apple charges.
