changethursday
I have a thread for Snow Leopard also, but right now Ill be happy with any iteration of OSX working on my machines. I have read and taken part of countless threads, but theres always little variations and someone coming in with a totally different board while you are going back and forth with help, so it seemed to make more sense to follow those who specifically have gotten it working using this setup! I have Kalyway, iAtkos, and iDeneb disks, but I think that they may be getting to the point where i need to DL and reburn...Each of them gives me a different error set at different points in the install. I got 10.5 partially up on my machine once upon a time, but never got the video totally working (I have a 9600 GSO) and never got all 4 cores working. One of them worked beautifully on my laptop, save the fact I could never get wireless working, which is rather key for a laptop, and I got it up and working great on my old HP pavilion..but this machine has proven to be a monster.. Any help is greatly appreciated! BTW, the BIOS settings i see listed here (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=37118) Do not match the menus I find in my BIOS. Zip up all your BIOS menu and sub-menu options and post them.......I will take a look.........you will also need to use Chameleon with a patched DSDT.aml file in /Extra/.........but let us sort out your BIOS settings first.......... changethursday
Im not sure how to zip up my BIOS settings honestly, but heres what im running http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mainboard...platinum_6.html this is from another page, but it gives you a decent run down of my various settings and options... Mine does not have the "green power" option, but otherwise, my menus are nearly identical..

It would be better to see actual screenshots of your own BIOS screens but start by setting RAID Mode to AHCI if that is an option and disable e-SATA Controller if you are not using e-SATA devices........
