svfusion Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 I have been trying to install SL on my XPS 1645 but can't even get to the install screen.. I have tried booting with boot123 empire1063-ati.zip [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] I get the apple with white background then it get the circle with a line though it. I am using a retail 10.6.3 disk. On the hard drive, I have Windows 7 64bit NTFS and I made a blank partition on the drive for SL. svfusion Posted October 4, 2010 Author Share Posted October 4, 2010 I found what the problem was, it was a bad disc. I burned the disk using my hackintosh and it worked. However, depending what boot disk I use I get something different. Like a, black screen after the white gui, or kernel panic. Did you not use a boot disc at all?
