Since then i have switched back to the dark side (vista and windows 7). I have now switched to console gaming from PC gaming, and i want to install Snow Leopard on my machine from here on out. Here are the specs: core 2 duo 2.4ghz abit aw9d-max (is in HCL 10.6.2) 4 gb ddr2 1066 palit hd4870 1gb ddr5 3 x 1 TB caviar black sata 1 x seagate 120 GB sata (target OS drive) 1 x LG dvdrw drive mobo specs: Processor Support All Intel LGA775 processors, including Core 2 Duo Northbridge Intel i975 Southbridge Intel ICH7R Memory Support 4 DIMMs, DDR2, 533/667/800, 8GiB max Graphics 2 x PCI Express Graphics 16X Supports ATI CrossFire PCI Express 2 x PCIe 1x; i975X PCI Conventional 1 slot, PCI2.2 ATA 1 port, ICH7R SATA 4 ports SATA2 AHCI, ICH7R 2 ports SATA2 AHCI, Silicon Image Sil3132, PCIe on ICH7R 2 ports SATA2 AHCI (1 eSATA), Silicon Image Sil3132, PCIe on i975X RAID 0/1/5, ICH7R, Intel Matrix Storage 0/1, Sil3123s LAN 2 x 10/100/1000, Realtek RTL8111B, PCIe on ICH7R Audio abit AudioMAX HD 7.1 HD Audio, 8-channel, Realtek ALC882M Floppy 1 port, ICH7R FireWire Texas Instruments TSB43AB22A, FireWire 400, 2 ports USB 8 ports, USB2.0, ICH7R I have not gotten it to work based on info in HCL 10.6.2 and end up with kernel panics. I have downloaded, burned and verified a copy of "Snow Leopard Client Server 10.6.2 SSE2 SSE3 Intel AMD by Hazard" If someone can help me through getting a working 10.6.2 on it, I offer eternal gratitute, praise and honor =) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CeeJay101 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Share Posted October 6, 2010 i have gotten it to boot under safe boot with the following options: 10.6.2 update combo kernel: legacy kernel 10.6.2 graphics: Ati 48x0 enabler, graphics enabler, evoenabler hd ati 4870 audio: AppleAzaliaAudio (not working) system support: elliotforcelegacyrtc, ioatafamily fix, ahci sata fix, legacy sata fix it kernel panics on normal boot.
