Hello, i'm new and have a little problem ...

Hello,

 

I already have 1 Macbook but i wanted to use my PC to run OS X too.

 

The configuration :

 

E6550 core 2 duo @ 2,33 ghz

2 MO Kingston

ASUS P5NE-SLI

PNY 8800 GT

 

Last week i downloaded IATKOS 1.6.3 retail and after burn it, i tried to install it on the PC.

The installation was good, i have the ethernet and the sound.

 

Some problem with the sleep, but not so important for the moment.

My big problem is the USB, which is very slow to detect an USB storage and very slow in speed. For example, It takes 3 hours to copy and paste 1 Go of files.

 

I'm very desapointed, cause i'm new with hackintosh and i tried to search for kext USB fix, but i found nothing.

 

If someone can help me, it would be fine.

EDIT: No more USB problem !!!

 

I just replace the IOUSBfamily.kext 10.6.3 by an older version for 10.6.2 found on the net !!

And now, i can copy about 12 Go in around 6 minutes !!!
