How to stop ethernet choosing the wrong kext?

I've got the id of ethernet controller from vista device manager, its the marvel yukon 88e8038.

Ive edited the info.plist of Yukon.kext adding the the required changes and repaired permissions.

Looking at the hardware info in osx, it seems the ethernet is using the airportatheros.kext and not the yukon.kext required. How do I make the system choose the yukon.kext over the airportatheros.kext?
