rafafre
Hi. I am desperately searching for Quartz compatible graphics cards in legacy PCI slots that would work with snow leopard. Leopard 10.5 used to work with NVIDIA FX5500 and chipsets alike that are sold in PCI legacy format. But compatibility is broken for SNOW 10.6... So, do you know if there is any legacy PCI cards that are compatible with SNOW? I'm asking here because I thogh that intel chipsets could be my solution as ATI and NVIDIA are not releasing new cards in legacy PCI. I would be really thankful for any advice as I have some old opteron server motherboards that runs Snow OK after some work, but lacks PCI-e slots, and I really need quartz on those. All the best from Brazil!
rafafre
Ugh! No answers? Let me try to ask it in a simpler way... Is there ANY Snow Leopard Compatible PCI Video card (NOT PCI-e)? Thanks for looking!
printerati
Ugh! No answers? Let me try to ask it in a simpler way... Is there ANY Snow Leopard Compatible PCI Video card (NOT PCI-e)? Thanks for looking! I would love an answer to this as well. I have a 9400GT PCI-E card installed on a Gigabyte G41M-ES2L board running two monitors, and I have been trying to add a third monitor via a PCI card, since that is the only option for a second video card I have with that board. I had no success with a PNY FX5200 256 MB PCI or a PNY 8400GS 512 MB PCI.
rafafre
I've heard the Chameleon Graphics Enabler would "see" a PCI series 9000 Gforsce card. Have to try...
