supergnu
Hi! So i Finally managed to get SnowLeopard 10.6 working on my T500 notebook. I intended to do the 10.6.4 comboupdate but first i wanted to make a backup using carbon copy cloner. So i booted leopard from an external HD, startet carbon copy cloner and created a disk image from my snowleopard partition. CCC dismounted the disk and did a block-level copy, then it remounted the disk. then i wanted to reboot into snowleopard, but now i get a kernel panic right after i see the apple logo, even before the hard-disk-access-wheel-thing starts rotating. does anyone have an idea what could be the cause? is ccc changing anything about the partition it's creating the backup from? thanks! oldtopman
#1) Boot in -v and get us the pic. #2) CCC does not change anything afaik #3) What guide are you following. There is usually something you have to do after an update, even on a vanilla install.
