ovof
Hi i've got a perfect system since 3 years, GA P35 DS3R with Q6600, now with 10.6.4 of course. I've got an annoying issue right now. Whenever iTune 10 is loaded, the whole system stuter, every 2 or 3 seconds, mouse cursour and windows stops then go on again. Very annoying. If kill itunes 10, no stuttering anymore. The CPU are not loaded (i've got istat monitoring). Well i'm very disappointed. I will probably reinstall the system. Does anyone have this ? I think its perhaps an USB issue, like device seeking... TH3L4UGH1NGM4N
I have noticed an issue similar to this when I installed itunes 10 when playing a song there will be times when the song would pause for like 3-5 seconds despite the fact that the CPU is under no load. If I move the cursor to do certain things i'll get the SBOD (spinning beachball of death) for a bit until the music resumes and then everything is back to normal. Dunno why but it does happen occasionally though it doesn't bother me that much I just happened to run across someone else who has an issue similar to mine. I'm on 10.6.4 also with a GA P35 UD3L board (very similar to yours) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/233264-itunes-10-makes-system-stuterring/#findComment-1556855 Share on other sites
scififan68
What video card do you have? I know that AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext causes an issue similar on Geforce 8 and 9 series video cards when connected with a dvi connection to the monitor with itunes and quicktime.
