Amacx86
I have a Thinkpad T60 running 10.5.8 flawlessly except for one problem: Anytime I try and load streaming video on the internet, I get either a black box with nothing, or audio with no video. About my "mac": Model Name: Mac Pro Model Identifier: MacPro2,1 Processor Name: Intel® Core2 CPU T7200 @ Processor Speed: 2 GHz Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB CPU Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM SSE3 MON DSCPL VMX EST TM2 SSSE3 CX16 TPR PDCM Memory: 4 GB Bus Speed: 667 MHz Boot ROM Version: MP11.88Z.005C.B08.0707251237 (Apple Computer, Inc.) I think this model laptop actually has 64MB of shared VRAM, but about the mac reports 128MB. I had to change the Mobility's device ID in the kext files to get things to work. Nameci
your model identifier should be a macbook or a macbook pro. edit your smbios.plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/233178-thinkpad-t60-mobility-x1300-no-streaming-video/#findComment-1556022 Share on other sites
Amacx86
your model identifier should be a macbook or a macbook pro. edit your smbios.plist Ok...(1) Will this fix my video? (2) Where can I find smbios.plist? I tried something this morning: used OSX86 Tools to disable QuartzGL. This all of a sudden allowed me to get streaming video from YouTube, whereas previously I had a black box with video. However, the video stream is quite jerky, and not smooth.
