I have a Thinkpad T60 running 10.5.8 flawlessly except for one problem: Anytime I try and load streaming video on the internet, I get either a black box with nothing, or audio with no video.

Any thoughts? I think this model laptop actually has 64MB of shared VRAM, but about the mac reports 128MB.

 

I had to change the Mobility's device ID in the kext files to get things to work.

your model identifier should be a macbook or a macbook pro. edit your smbios.plist

 

Ok...(1) Will this fix my video? (2) Where can I find smbios.plist?

 

I tried something this morning: used OSX86 Tools to disable QuartzGL. This all of a sudden allowed me to get streaming video from YouTube, whereas previously I had a black box with video. However, the video stream is quite jerky, and not smooth.
