MadSkillzMan
hey guys. Im impressed with my work here. Got a machine working 98%. An IBM ThinkCentre S51. Patched kexts for audio, video, framebuffer, network, etc. Its a fast little machine with full CE/QI. Anyways. my only HUGE problem, is the USB recognition. If i have something plugged in at startup, it works fine. Mouse, keyboard, USB drive, priinter, etc Buuuut should you plug it in later, it isnt detected. In fact if i unplug the mouse then plug it back in, it goes dead. What gives? It did this out of the box. I manually updated to 6.2 without a hitch. My USB Controller is an intel 82801FB/FBM/FW/FW/FRW ICH6 Family, USB UHCI #1-4. going 8086:2658 through 265c This is the only thing im stumped on guys. Otherwise everything else works amazingly. Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/233055-usb-only-scans-at-bootup/ Share on other sites
