Just cannot force resolution to change.

Hey

 

I've been using my Snow Leopard on my Compaq CQ72 for a while now but I just can't live with this small resolution. Webpages go out from the side and icons are big. I've tried dozens of tutorials online but none of them work.

On OSX my resolution is something like 1280x1024.

 

I hope that you understand my situation as a complete newcomer to osx86-business and provide me some help. I would totally appreciate it.
