4everAnoob
Hi all, After deciding to install osx again on my netbook, I ran into the same problem as i did before, which is the inability to hibernate the netbook. I used iDeneb 1.6 (OSX 10.5.8) vanilla kernel and as little extras as possible. I do have QE Ci working perfectly, so if anyone is having trouble just ask The bootloader im using is chameleon rc4. I installed smartsleep and set it to hibernate only. If I then hibernate it, it very briefly shows a slightly transparant grey screen which normally should stay longer and shows you the progress of the hibernation, but instead it then reboots. I believe a kernel panic is occuring just before it can write the hibernation file to disk. Any help would be great!
