I keep getting this error: "Failed to start CPU 02, rebooting... CPU halted" at boot time. Need cpus=1 to get past it.

Any good tips for a starter?

Update:

The error is triggered by one or more unsupported values (red in my example below) in APIC.aml

[02Ch 044  1]                Subtable Type : 00 <Processor Local APIC>
[02Dh 045  1]                       Length : 08
[02Eh 046  1]                 Processor ID : 01
[02Fh 047  1]                Local Apic ID : 04
[030h 048  4]        Flags (decoded below) : 00000001
                        Processor Enabled : 1

I can trigger it on a perfectly good booting desktop hack (with OS X 10.6.4) and as such this topic can be closed. At least for me.

BTW: The green Processor ID above should match your DSDT.aml

Processor (CPU0, 0x01, 0x00000410, 0x06)
{
   ...

Let's hope this help someone :whistle:
