Hey Everyone I was looking into buying a nettop that was as compatible with an OS X SL Retail install as possible. I have found a couple candidates but the Zotac ZBox HD-ID11 seems to be the best. I attempted to search the install or anything relating to it and found a couple methods, but nothing here. Has anyone attempted it and if so what have you found? Here is a good link to the specs of the machine.

I have a netbook (Mini10v) that is at 10.6.2 and runs really well so I have some experience.

Thanks for the help guys!

Have you had any luck yet with installing Snow Leopard on the ZBOXHD-ID11-U?

I'm waiting for my new 10.6.3 DVD to show up before I start. I have a Snow Leopard 10.6 that I was able to get on my HP mini 1051nr.

If anyone has pointers please let us know. I will slap Ubuntu on it first so I can pull off the DSDT.aml file and try to edit it.

My SPECS

ZBOXHD-ID11-U

4GIGS DDR2 800

WD2500BEVT (250GIG WD)

Successfully installed using a 10.6.3 install DVD image from USB stick following ##### Legacy (2.7.2), via Disk Utility Restore. Had everything working except for audio over HDMI and wireless. My understanding is that the wireless is an Atheros AR9285 which is natively supported under 10.6.5. Not sure if that's as feasible considering that it's an Atom line. I'll be attempting to rule it in/out soon.

I'm no good with editing DSDTs, so I'm rather hoping you've had some success. Any?
