Hi All,

After many hours, many distro's & many wasted DVD discs this semi literate old computer fanatic finally discovered iATKOS S3 v2 OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.3 10D573 & got it, with a lot of patience to load to a 25GB partition that I created adjacent to Windows 7, C:\ Drive. It will not boot normally & a message I got here was "hibernate is xxxx old" and to key in "ForceWake=y" & I tried that without any joy. I was able to boot into -x, (safe mode) & started the setup only to discover that my mouse worked (usb logitech wireless) but the keyboard on my Qosmio X305 Toshiba laptop did not work & so I could not complete setup (User Details) in safe mode.

My Laptop Stats are: Toshiba Qosmio PQX32U-02F0176, MB = Toshiba KSRAA 1.0, BIOS = Toshiba v2.10 03/10/2009, CPU = 2.0 Ghtz Intel Core2 Duo P7350 (Not Hyperthreaded), Video = Nvidia GeForce 9700 GTS 512Mb, Memory = 4Gb DDR3 in 2 slots 2+2Gb. OS = Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit build 7600.

Should I wipe my install and load again with alternate drivers or is there a way for me to patch/repair my current load?

Any help would be very gratefully received & Thanks in advance

Jim in Australia.

You only posted your first post 4 hours ago. I would assume that the majority of members are in the northern hemisphere and just maybe they are sleeping. Take it easy if you don't get an answer anon, no good alienating people.

In safe mode the ps2 kext wont be loading, so thats why you have no keyboard, try a USB keyboard, if a USB mouse works probably a USB keyboard will too.

Try this search for your problem http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&...q=&gs_rfai= I would start by removing the sleepenabler.kext

If you don't have a USB keyboard download MacDrive trial and fix form within Windows
