Valmar
Hello, since the GTX 460 is not supported I thought getting another cheap gpu might solve the problems. I have read some threads about using multiple GPUs but I could not get it to work. I Have an ASUS P5Q Deluxe (P45) Mainboard, which does not suppot PEG1/PEG2 Option in BIOS. So I put the GT 220 in my primary PCIe 16x Slot and the GTX460 in my secondary PCIe 8x slot. For the installation I am using the iAtkos S3 release. If I am only using the GT 220 everything is working fine with either Chameleon and graphics enabled or an EFI String of an GTX 285 1024MB. I get my full resolution 1920x1080 and also QE enabled. But as soon as I use both cards I can't get it to work. I either get a black screen (using nvenabler) or I get kernel panics. Does not matter if I only use an efi string for the gt 220 or also for the gtx 460. Any ideas what I can do except pullig the power cord everytime from my GTX 460? Kind regards, Valmar
tobyx
I had nearly the same problem with GT 220 and GTX 460. I have the solution: - install iAtkos S3 with your GT 220 inside, without any drivers - start your hackintosh and boot up normally, it should work with full resolution - install Combo Update 10.6.5, but don't restart after! - install ##### with #####, System Utilities and Chameleon RC5 (the second one of the three) - download and install this: tonymacx86 Nvidia Update - reboot, now it should work
