ERROR : Unable to find SMBOIS ! then apple logo comes and it boots ....i have no sound although i installed 2 kexts AppleHDA and Voodo HDA... The kextu gave me APPLE AC97 audio.kext what i did was i manually deleted both applehda and voodo hda and using kext helper b7 installed the appleAc97 kext...and rebooted no sound again another problem is about this mac and sleep crash...i log out with blue screen( solid colour ) and then again logs in... same with sleep and about this mac i read in some post that it is dependent on SMBOIS.....so i thought asking u was better.... For graphics... the GMA 950 27a2 worked i had QE/CI but no resolution change...that is ok because i have a screen with 1024*768 resoultion... Front Row app causes kenal panic....and i had to reboot!...never mind A huge thanks to u..if my sound and that sleep prob is solved i m at a seventh sky... and ya my ethernet worked out of box...with RTL8169 kext in installer...just configured the setting and itw worked like a Charm.... Suggest you use the MacPro3,1 SMBIOS.plist file in my Snow_Support_Files v2.3 in my nForce RETAIL INSTALL GUIDE for Snow Leopard.........put it in /Extra directory.......
