asantas93
Okay, so as the title of this post indicates, the immediate problem that I face is that the Disk Utility will not detect my RAID 0 array. So, here are my basic specs: Dual boot: Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP x32 Foxconn A79A-S Motherboard AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition Quad-Core Processor ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB + NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTS 512MB 2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 in RAID 0 M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 8 GB RAM In the past I have tried the following (with only one HDD, not in RAID): -iAtkos v7, which installed in AHCI mode, and booted into safe mode when I typed -v -x -y cpus=1 and selected a very specific set of drivers, which escapes me at the moment. If this is truly important, I will find a way to recall it. iAtkos v7 only booted from disc with the -v -x -y cpus=1 command, as well. When I managed to get Leopard to boot in safe mode, I had replaced MBR with EFI. -Calyway; did not boot, even partially, even when I used the -v -x -y cpus=1 flag -Leo4All; same -iDeneb 1.5.1, which I managed to install in IDE mode with the -v -x -y cpus=1 flag. However, Leopard would not even boot into safe mode after this. I did NOT try EFI with this, which leads me to believe that Leopard won't boot from MBR, in my case. Now, I have a RAID 0 array, and I cannot get iAtkos or iDeneb to recognize my hard drives (iAtkos only recognizes AHCI and iDeneb only recognizes IDE). Is there a way to custom build my own Hackintosh disc, or do something similar to slipstreaming in order to accomodate RAID (and my other hardware)? I, of course, am open to other solutions. Thanks in advance! -Aris
3.14r2
I don't think OS X can support the specific on-board RAID.
