ubuntuosx
I have installed OSX retail using the new nawcom bootcd, the dsdt from tonymacosx database and tried adding the ps2 voodoo kext using #####. However the ps2 keyboard or mouse will not work, the mouse also can be usb and when like this it works. Using nawcom bootcd the ps2 keyboard works. I have tried installing the apple kexts from the image on the cd but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong, is it the dsdt? If any one using this mb and dsdt has ps2 working please tell me and how you did it, or anybody can tell me what I need to do. thankyou
3.14r2
Maybe you are "installing" them incorrectly?
ubuntuosx
Maybe you are "installing" them incorrectly? I have tried installing ApplePS2Controller and AppleACPINub to /System/Library/Extensions and repair permissions and cache using #####. I have also tried instaling to /Extras/Extensions, but with no luck. The keyboard and mouse kexts on the nawcom cd are separate not in the ApplePS2Controller plugin directory is this significant. Any explicit instructions on how to install them would be welcome.
