edwon
I'm hoping to build an i7 hackintosh that will work great for Final Cut Pro editing, Adobe CS5 (mostly After Effects) and Cinema 4D rendering I've done tons of reading on these forums with tons of different recommendations given. I've put together a parts list but it is by no means complete. If possible I'd love to have an eight core i7. But a fast four core i7 is ok to (so far that's all I can find) Overall I know there are better options out there, and it would be amazing if someone more knowledgeable had some recommends. Would like to keep the total around $1000 but can go up to $1300 GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2 LGA 1156 Intel P55 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard 104.99 ( I've also considered the ASUS P6T motherboard because of this link http://www.flynflip.com/Hackintoshing/P6T_BIOS_setup.asp ) Intel Core i7-860 Lynnfield 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I7860 283.00 ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler 35.98 Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 59.95 Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive 87.99 GIGABYTE GV-N98TSL-1GI GeForce 9800 GT 1GB Silent Cell 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card 99.99 OCZ StealthXstream II OCZ600SXS2 600W ATX12V v2.2/ EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Power Supply 69.99 G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ 88.99 Total $
