I've tried the AC97Audio.kext in the wiki as well as done all the steps. when i am in system/library/extensions/appleac97audio.kext/contents/plugins/ and i type kextload AppleAC97AudioIntelICH it says "kext already running" if i type kextunload AppleAC97AudioIntelICH OSX crashes and forces me to hard reboot when i do the suggested modification (put in my vendor and device ID which ive double checked is corect and identical to the top link) then set the ownerships correctly and chmod to 755, delete the kextcache and reboot, i still have the volume control working however STILL no output. could someone please help, as i've gotten EVERYTHING on my comp working perfectly (except i have to use mousepose for mouse tearing) except this one issue. Additionally, I am using Tom H's PS2Controller but I can't tap my touchpad. if i use the touchpad driver it overwrites Tom H's and my laptop keyboard wont work anymore. Anyway, thanks for the help. and if anyone has a question on how to get something working (besides sound) on a Sony VGN-s360, reply to this thread, as I can help.
