Hi there!

My machine is a small, cheap nettop pc:

Mini-ITX - Mainboard (N/S Intel945GC/ICH7) - Dual Core CPU Atom 330 (2x1,6GHz) - 1GB DDR2 - 1Gbit Lan - GMA950 Onboard Grafikkarte mit 1x VGA - externes 75W Netzteil - 6x USB 2.0 (2x Front) - 2x PS/2 - 1x Serial + 1x Parallel Ports...

Finally i got this thing working with the voodoo kernel from iPC 10.5.6 CD. I modified the dsdt file and so i solved the processor alias problem.

The activity monitor now shows 4 CPUs. QE is enabled - this is fun!!!!

One thing is not 100% yet - the Graphics! The Magnetosphere Visualizer in iTunes runs at, i guess, 12 FPS and 720p MKVs are stuttering with around 5 FPS.

I tried the PC with Windows XP and 720p Video is no problem there. 1080i MKVs are not running smooth even under Windows.

Could it be that there is someting wrong with the GMA950 drivers? Are there any alternative drivers somewhere or could i optimize things on my own?

I appreciate any hint, so when this little PC runs smooth, i can make a detailed installation how-to for the community.

Try selecting the GMA915 or even the GMA900. I have had good luck getting GMA915 graphics working by using the GMA900 driver so maybe going to a lower then you expected driver will work for you too.
