y01tzkev
Is there a motherboard out there that is pretty much flawless with the 1055t? I'm looking to buy parts and I don't want to end up with problems when I attempt the SL install. Does the motherboard chipset matter most in these cases? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. Drillers
Not sure which version I used but heres a link to the latest Empire EFI for AMD machines will try it out tonight and will reply if it is successful
Drillers
I tried it out and unfortunatly it did not like my MB so my guess would be to try something like PC EFI and boot with busratio=22 or 25 depnding on the BIOS settings you may have to play around with the busratio number

Over
I got it installed on: Specc: Motherboard: Asus Crosshair IV Forumula (bios 1304) CPU: AMD 1055t Graphic: Radeon HD 5830 x 2 RAM: 4gb But i cant get the internet to work and i cant install the graphic cards, it says that it is 4800 something installed instead of the 5830. Did anyone get the internet to work ? Hello ApoXxX, can you help me with your bios setting, do you have a dsdt.aml, and what kext you use ? I have a snow installed whith my old mainboard (asus M4N72E) and i have change for Crosshair IV Formula. I have boot one time and do a new dsdt.aml. Now i can't boot anymore. I stuck on appleACPIPlatform. Maybe I have do a bad setting or change. For ethernet, the chipset is Marvel Yukon 8059 and I only see kext for 8056 ... If i can boot I search if it's possible to use this one with changing the ID's card. That works sometimes with other stuff. If I see something about that I tell you ... If it's possible to attach com.apple.boot, dsdt.aml and the list of kext used I appreciate. Sorry for my english, I'm from Belgium. Thanks in advance, Siberia
