Temperature issue of GTX480 in Mac OSX

I just had installed the Mac OSX 10.6.3 about a week ago, and then updated to 10.6.4, everything works great, but only one problem: the temperature of my graphic card stays high after running games or 3D applications.

 

I have tried several games like Torchlight or Call of Duty 4. After I had quit the 3D games, the graphic card still keept exhausting the extremely hot air. Then I checked the process and find nothing about 3D program. The card will not cool down until I restart my computer.

 

I guess maybe the graphic card still keeps running in 3D mode after the 3D program has been closed.

 

Is there any way to solve this problem?
