trevis Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 I got the JaS 10.4.6 install dvd and patched it with the JaS PPF1 patch to install on my hp l2000 special edition. While booting up the cd, it hangs, here is a screenshot. I've also tried installing Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.6.X86-HOTiSO in vmware and installing the dirvers for the ati x200 chipset. I used dd to copy over the image, and it would hang on boot as well. I loaded up the mac instlaler in vmware again and it said the voume needed repairing because of an invalid B-Tree header. Once I repaired the volume, os x wouldn't even attempt to boot, it would just sit there after selecting it in grub. Any help is appreciated, thanks. trevis Posted August 2, 2006 Author Share Posted August 2, 2006 I was mistaken, it doesn't seem to actually hang, but it moves extremely slowly. I left it running for about 3 hours, and it still had not loaded up the gui, but there were new messages printed to the screen. So I guess my issue is that it runs extremely slowly.
