The install DVD probably is not loading AppleNForceATA.kext when it boots.......try iATKOS S3 v2 with qoopz 10.3.0 kernel......

How would i do that ? is there an youtube link for that?

[1] You have GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 chipsets.......the 6150SE is an integrated graphics chipset on the MOBO that is sharing your MOBO RAM.......it is not supported by OS X for CI and QE............in fact, AFAIK no Nvidia integrated GPU below 9x00m works on OSX........that is why installing any video kexts will prevent you booting.........so do not choose any nVidia/graphics options in the Customize menu.....

[2] The iATKOS S3 v2 10.6.3 distro Install DVD can boot into 5 kernels: qoopz 10.3.0, qoopz 10.2.0, pcj 0.9 10.2.0, atom 10.3.0 and the modbin 10.0.0 kernel.

It boots into qoopz 10.3.0 by default but you can boot using any of the following kernel boot flags, if the default does not work......

"mach_qoopz" for qoopz 10.2.0

"mach_pcj" for pcj v0.9 10.2.0

"mach_atom" for atom 10.3.0

"mach_modbin" for modbin 10.0.0

For further information on qoopz/nawcom legacy kernels, see here.......

So, see if your AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ boots into qoopz 10.3.0, so in the Installer Customise menu, initially select the options shown in BOLD here:

> iATKOS S3 Main System [Pre-selected Default]

Okay i found it , but when i download this and burn it correctly, what whould i have to boot with? should i still use -v?

Boot with -v cpus=1 maxmem=2048 first to see if your CPU can boot with the qoopz 10.3.0 kernel.......

Its not booting. It says " Still waiting for root device" and when i try to ignore it by typing "f" at boot , it goes to the apple logo but after 2-3 minutes, it comes up with this Big_Brother_PoV_sign.png!!!!!! I'm confused and don't know what else to do.

Try the following in succession

-v

-v mach_pcj

-v mach_qoopz

-v mach_modbin

I've officially tried all of them and they failed terribly. I've got these notes on most of em.

1. " Still Waiting For Root Device "

2. Error: Firewire unable to determine security mode; defaulting to full secure.

3. IOATAController device blocking bus

4. ATA:Device recovery failed (0X00000003) Terminating Device.

I Officially don't know what else to do!

A number of questions:

[1] What are your BIOS SATA/IDE parameter settings?

[2] Have you ever successfully tried a Leopard distro fro AMD on your PC, such as LawlessPPC 10.5.4, or Leo4All for AMD etc.?
