I am on my nc6400 right now using 10.5.6 and i made a new partition for 10.6.3 so my drive looks like this

50Gb iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 Leopard

50Gb iAtkos S3 v2 10.6.3 Snow Leopard

20Gb Backup

Leopard is working perfectly fine, but when i go to customize my installation on iAtkos my computer hangs terribly at 18 minutes which is weird because it installs only a little bit

my customize options where

Bootloader;AsereBLN 1.1.9

Bootloader options;32-bit mode

Patches;/extra directory,disabler,evoreboot,fakesmc

Drivers;voodoohda,appleps/2

now on the osx86 project wiki under hp nc6400 it says that im supposed to chose voodoo battery but on iatkos s3 v2 voodoo battery is not an option(also that is the only driver that was not chosen from the wiki page)

okay so i have installed it and i think i could possibly have a graphics driver issue. when i boot up iatkos and choose it it gets to the white screen with the apple and the grey pin wheel and it freezes like that but i hear music.

so im pretty much hearing music from iatkos booting for the first time but the screen is frozen at the grey apple logo screen

I have the exact same issue....grey screen on first logon after install and can hear music ok. After a long while it reboots. Any solutions out there?

Hi to all, I have installed iAtkos exactly as described on OSx86 guide without problems. Please have attention about NC6400 model: some have ATI graphics card and other Intel 950. Please follow the right guide.

Instead I have another problem with this notebook: power management. In other words, the notebook after 10 (or 15 minutes, I don't remember now) active the power management policy correctly: (1) power off the LCD and (2) pute the HDD in standby mode. The problem is that I amo not more able to wake up the PC: I have tried all key and some combinations, and power button too but without success. The only way I have to restore the situation is "kill" the notebook with 4sec method.

Someone here has an idea to help me? Some kext or DSDT modification?

Thank you

Best regards

Patrick

Installing like this makes everything work:

But, i have to boot with cpus=1 and my proc temp is 80º Celsius, and have no idea on how to fix this, i've searched the forums and it seems like modifying dsdt works but i'm stuck

Btw, my wifi works doing this:
