No matter what distro I use for 10.5.x or 10.6.x there are times I cannot always boot to the installer.

I either get of two errors listed below:

Cannot use ATS Persistent Store - switching to old FODB cache code

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - wait for service (resource Matching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out

I can boot to the installer one time do a install, but if I need to go back and fix an install and I try and boot to the installer with the same distro disc again I get one of the two errors above.

The hardware for the PC is as follows:

Motherboard: MSI K9A2 Platinum

Processor: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+

Memory: 4GB

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO PCIe

Sound Card: ATI Radeon HDMI @ ATI Radeon HD 2600

Target Hard Drive: 1.5TB Seagate Sata HDD or a 260GB Western Digital Sata drive

DVD Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner

The DVD drive is brand new bought it last week.

The Hard Drives are completely empty and have nothing installed on them.

The Hard Drivers are plugged into SATA Port 1 on the Motherboard and the DVD Burner on SATA Port 2 or 3

I have looked on http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and see that my board is supported for many different versions, and even if I follow what those that got it to work did to install mine always fails.

My bios settings can be seen at http://www.mattestes.com/Photos/Bios/

what could be causing the dvd to not always boot using the exact same flags each time?

I have tried Hazard, iATKOS, iDeneb, iPC_OSx86 and many more distros.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
