Hi everybody...

After a few false starts and a lot of boot loader repairs, I have finally got Snow Leopard installed and working (mostly) to my satisfaction. I just have a few problems to clear up.

I installed using the myHack installer available from http://osx86.sojugarden.com/

After trying and failing may times to get SN installed on this laptop, the myHack installer sorted it all out for me. It's a pretty clean install with only a couple of extra kexts.

I've installed the VoodooHDA kext too.

The main problems I still have are:

1. After waking up from going to sleep, the trackpad doesn't work.

2. I can't make the laptop go into sleep mode on closing the lid. To be hosext, if number 1 isn't fixed then this is pointless.

3. Despite installing the latest VoodooHDB kext, I have really distorted mand choppy sound. I've tried a few fixes and to no avail.

4. To get my keyboard a little better arranged, I've installed KeyRemap4MacBook. This has sorted out my @ " swap but I can't the the hash and tilde key to work. Ideally I'd like to get a utility that allows me to remap any key combination to any character. Does such a utility exist?

5. Despite installing VoodooBattery, I still have no battery monitor. If I check the 'Show Battery Status in menu bar' option is just disables itself.

6. I have no scrolling on my touchpad. One fix I found just messed up the preferences plane. Luckily the 10.6.4 update fixed the problem.

There a couple of others, but thats the main stuff.

Anyone have any other ideas?
