jessBTS
I can't seem to find a bootloader that will work with my retail disk. System specs: core 2 duo (2 ghz) 3 gb ram geforce 8600m gt dell wireless 1305 draft n broadcom bluetooth sigmatel c major hd 92xx I have tried Empire EFI, #####, and MyHack. I can get the ipc 10.5.6 on it, and tried to use that to get the MyHack drive made, unfortunately, I get an error stating that it fails the preflight script, and not sure how to work around that. EDIT: Should specify that that error occurs when trying to install. Was wondering if anyone knew how to get around the MyHack issue, or of a bootloader for this system. jessBTS
I couldn't actually get that one working... I did get Empire EFI working, but I have encountered a problem with the installing, there is an error where it will not set the drive the os partition is on to boot from. It then goes on to tell me to try selecting it from the startup disk utility, which I cannot seem to do.
jessBTS
Hmm... Figured it out, it installed, but I need to boot from the bootloader it seems. EDIT: Everything is working great, except the audio. Any suggestions?
