Mmarra
Hello, I'm new to building a Hackintosh and need help with what components to purchase. I would like to build a Quad core hackintosh, maybe i7, that will be used to run Pro Tools & Logic on Snow Leopard but do not know where to start with which cooling system, RAM etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction as I would greatly appreciate the help. But for now this is what I'm thinking so far: Motherboard - Gigabyte X58A-UD3R (http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=490...acture=Gigabyte) CPU - Intel Core i7 930 Quad Core (http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=509...mp;promoid=1088) Hard Drive - Western Digital WD10EARS Caviar Green 1TB (http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=481...%20Digital%20WD) Need help on RAM, Video card, cooling system Thanks Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/230330-pro-tools-logic-hackintosh-build-help/ Share on other sites
jjj321
Hi Mmarra, How did you get on with your build? I'm looking to build a Hackintosh for running Pro Tools M-Powered and Logic Pro 9. Currently at the research stage...
