korakas
Hello everyone I'm new to the OSXx86 stuff, and i'd like your advice on something. I'm about to begin my second try installing Snow Leopard on my pc, the first attempt had succesful installation, but unfortunately i couldn't get Snow Leopard to show me its Desktop, i believe it's because of graphics card, an ASUS EAH 3870X2 1GB, show as i've read in the forums and the wikipedia compatibility list, i've decided to by an Nvidia GTS 250. My question is, will i face any problems with this GPU? and because my Mobo is an ASUS P5E, should i buy an ASUS GTS 250 or a GIGABYTE GTS 250? or it doesn't matter? my current hardware is: CPU: Intel Quad Q9300 Mobo: ASUS P5E GPU: EAH 3870X2 1GB 4GB RAM 4 Hard disks (one currently running windows 7 x64) I'd be grateful if you could help me because i'm lost. Thanks in advance. cheers!! Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/230304-graphics-card-for-snow-leopard-on-asus-p5e/ Share on other sites
