Valtiel
I'm typing from a successful install of Kalyway 10.5.2 right now. It's insanely fast, and makes good use of resources, this whole OS is much more lighter than Win 7 anyway. This is my first time using OSX and it seems like I'm already getting a handle on things already. Sound = OK Video = 1280x800 Res but no QE/CI So some videos are a bit choppy, I've done a few workarounds, but I have a EasyBCD dualboot with Win 7 anyway so I'm not too concerned over it. WiFi = Atheros card, it's not readable. I had to buy a usb one. It works just fine and I've seen an improvement of speed, only forty bucks. DVD RW = Works, slightly buggy though. How do I update? I've looked for Netka's method, but I can't find it with google or searching through this site. I plan to make a backup and update, but I'm not sure how. I don't want to update to Snow, just to 10.5.8. Please help! Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/230181-updating-from-1052/ Share on other sites
