Coburn 64 Posted August 26, 2010 Share Posted August 26, 2010 Howdy all, I was wondering if someone could cast their watchful eye over my gaming computers' specifications, as I'm thinking of putting a 60GB SATA HDD just for OSx86 use (Mac-only apps, etc) along with my current Linux & Windows dualboot setup. If you could confirm that each component is compatible, that'll be great, and maybe suggest me which build of OSx86 to use (that way I'm not going hunting and finding out that half my hardware is not supported and I wasted 6GB of my download quota). Alright, here goes: AMD Phenom II X2 Dual-Core at 3.0Ghz Gigabyte AMD Mobo (not sure what model, will have to check later tonight) D-Link DWL-510G Wireless Card (802.11b/g 54Mbps) Realtek Gigabit 10/100/1000 LAN Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 4850 GPU with 512MB DDR3 Dedicated Memory 160GB WD Caviar Blue SATA HDD DVD IDE Drives (one burner, one reader) - Recycled from a old computer Realtek 6.1 Surround Sound (Onboard) Swann PCI Video TV Tuner Card (uses some Conexant Chipset) Windows 7 64Bit Ultimate & Linux Mint 9 64Bit dual boot Thanks for your help and I hope to see OSx86 running on my powerful gaming rig!
