just plain dave
Not really a huge problem, just an annoyance with an artifact intermittently occurring in my finder/trash/menu windows. (I uploaded a screenshot). Notice the blank fields all contain some gray (grey) artifacts. It most often appears gray or white but can also be other random colors, often some reds and gray. I enabled the card by adding efi string to com.apple.Boot.plist file. (I also uploaded a screenhsot of my system profile/graphic info.) This is the system: OS 10.6.4 (using Empire EFI and retail 10.6 install disk/software update) GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard (Clocked 21 x 160BC) Temp 47degreeC @ idle Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor EVGA 01G-P3-N988-TR GeForce 9800 GT HDMI 1GB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory DELL ST2410: Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) The system seems rock solid except for this little screen glitch. It would be great to fix it. Any thoughts? Thanks.
