aaron94
I have tried the fix from here, but this only makes the audio device not appear at all in Sound preferences in the Settings app. Before this attempt it worked but with TONS of static. My motherboard is an ASUS M3A78 PRO and this is the output for Audio while running LSPCI from OSx86 Tools: 00:14.2 Audio device [0403]: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) [1002:4383] ^Although I am not sure if the kext I downloaded affects this line at all. Can anyone help me here?
aaron94
This is what shows up in system profiler with the with the modified ALC1200 kext for 10.6.2 from here : Intel High Definition Audio: Device ID: 0x104382FE Audio ID: 12 Available Devices: However I have read in some topics that I may need an ALC888 kext instead. I am really confused as to which I need. Can somebody please just help? Thanks.
aaron94
I seem to have gotten it working! with the VoodooHDA from here. It does not show up in System Profiler and yet it does show up in the sound menu in System prefs. I also can't seem to be able to control the volume with my keyboard, but the play/pause button works fine. I am glad that I can at least get it working and listen to music now, though
