enochpc
With some help from Thomas at Daily Blogged, I found this easy time sync fix that I have used on both Windows XP and Windows 7 (so I assume it will work on Vista as well). Open up Regedit (go to run and type Regedit) Browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation Change the value of RealTimeIsUniversal to 1, if it doesn't exist, create a new DWORD value with that name and set the value to 1. Works like a champ! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/229842-easy-time-sync-fix-for-windows/ Share on other sites
Onixs
FYI, that is for time sync on dual boot, and not CMOS fix Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/229842-easy-time-sync-fix-for-windows/#findComment-1536008 Share on other sites
enochpc
Sorry all, did not realize that the CMOS Reset and time reset were not related, thought this would be more helpful than it was. Mods feel free to delete. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/229842-easy-time-sync-fix-for-windows/#findComment-1537307 Share on other sites
