John Corbett
I've been trying to get sound support to work on that board. I have the latest version of ##### on the computer. Can someone please tell which kexts to install to get the sound working for analog speakers? Would appreciate it. Leang
I have the same motherboard and got everything working after a lot of trial and error. The kext you're looking for is Kext > Audio > LegacyHDA > ALC889. Also, another mistake I made: if you guys are using Fermi cards, you'll need to use #####-GE version. Let me know if you guys still have problems. I'm no expert, but if the hardware is similar, I might be able to help.
