DannyBoye Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 Well I finally got everything working, sound, LAN,DVD R- pretty much everything. I only have a few questions. If the Intel 865G worked in 10.4.1 why is it so hard to get it to work in 10.4.6? I'm not a master at osx so please if that sounds really stupid, don't be a smart ass and give me a stupid answer. Also the new Imac's use ATI x1600 video card, so if I get an x1600 will everything just work out of the box? I've searched for this and really havent found an answer. When the new PowerMac comes out. You think there will be a flood of video cards that get updated drivers from the companys that made them, seeings how when the new Power Mac will have PCI slots, and in theroy you'll be able to throw any card in. Apple encrypted them so it is impossible to just take the 10.4.1 .kexts and use them with 10.4.3~.
