  1. The Lunatics Are Running The Asylum!

If the logo redesign looks anything like the Fubra logo I think I'll be better off gouging my eyes out with a spoon.
  2. QE/CI/Rotation on AppleTV OSX Install!

When did you yank the cable, after the black screen? That didn't work for me (2407fpw HDMI->DVI)

  4. (Very) worried for bofors

lol at your idea that you can come to a conclusion pertaining to the popularity of a theory or how many people believe something just by looking at the number of search results. Here are some more for you: Results 1 - 10 of about 55,300,000 for the sky is green. (0.09 second) Results 1 - 10 of about 16,700,000 for the earth is flat. (0.12 seconds) Results 1 - 10 of about 14,400,000 for france is awesome. (0.10 seconds)
  5. For those who have done a G5 case mod, do you use the original SATA/Optical drive cable bundle? If so, how do you connect it to your PSU? Do you use the original front panel board cable? Reason I'm asking is that my case didn't come with either. I found the front panel board cable for $18 and the other cable for $35 and I would rather spend only what I needed.
  6. G5 Front Panel Pinout

Is this "Front Panel Board Cable" the one you guys are using? http://www.apple.com/support/powermac/doit.../caseparts.html
  7. G5 Front Panel Pinout

I know this is kind of off topic, but I have a G5 case that didn't come with the front panel connector cable. Does anyone know where I can get one?
  8. I just got a used G5 case today but it didn't include the wires to connect the front ports to the motherboard. I asked the guy I bought it from before I paid if there were wires attached and he said yes...oh well. Anyone know where I can locate one?
  9. -Archive- Macefix86 2006 -Archive-

ATY is ATI's stock symbol. ATYT is ATI USA's stock symbol.
  10. Just BS rumors. The last "exclusive" news from O'Grady's Powerpage was that there would be Apple plasma displays at MWSF back in January. If you don't remember, that never happened. http://www.powerpage.org/archives/2006/01/...sf_updated.html
  11. I bought one of these a while back and mine has the Ralink RT2500 chipset. I've been able to get it working with 10.4.7. I'm not sure if they still use the Ralink chipset so YMMW, but it is worth a try since it is free AR. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16833180030
  12. Starting My first X86 Box...

Are you planning on getting a motherboard too?
  13. What app are you missing?

    Swish Max and uTorrent.
  14. We don't have the source code for OSX, Windows, or any of the propietary drivers (video especially). It is impossible to build something without the source. Sorry bud, it isn't as simple as you are thinking.
  15. SUCCESS!

The drivers are not available for anything post 10.4.3. Apple encrypted them so it is impossible to just take the 10.4.1 .kexts and use them with 10.4.3~. There is some work going on to reverse engineer the 10.4.1 drivers to get them to work on later versions but so far, there is no working solution. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=12207 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=19606
