10.4.7 update - optimizing volume stall

Hey,

 

I have installed the JaS 10.4.6 OSx86 installation CD on two different laptops, clean install, no modifications. One is a Dell Inspiron 8200 and the other is a Dell Inspiron 1100. Everything runs fine, no problems, I can do whatever I want, system appears to be healthy. When I run the 10.4.7 update that I got straight off of Demonoid, it appears to work and install fine but it stalls at 50% when optimizing the disk. I haven't modified any kexts I've only been working with 'stock' data. I have reinstalled and repeated the process twice on both with the exact same results.
