usb ports not working

Just updated leopard to 10.5.8. i can not get any usb ports to work, there is six ports. I am using a Intel motherboard DG31PR. I started out with Kalyway 10.5.2 and followed the instructions from your members with no problems at all, except for the usb ports. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
